Web 2.0 is really mainstream now.... South Park on Monday parodied 2nd life.
It was interesting that it portrayed those that want to spend their waking hours in this virtual reality (what is reality anyway?) as junk food, pus & sore ridden slovenly losers. The graphics for the virtual world were quite good by the way.

Hi Andrew, I didn't see that episode of South park but I did see an excerpt from it on 'Difference of Opinion' last night. Carter (I think it was) was playing the online game until his dad interrupted and told him to go and play with his friends. Ironically of course, Carter WAS playing with his friends! Carter then proceeded to direct a string of acronyms at him explaining what he was doing "MMORPG... RPG..." etc etc, which completely bamboozled his dad, of course. It was a reminder that the world of technology involves a whole new language, which can really isolate those who don't "speak" it.
